Local Roofing Contractor seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our construction/roofing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly oversee management of operations and logistics.
- Plan, prioritize, assign, and review work of field crews.
- Supervise job scheduling, coordinate requirements, complete job files, supervise production, and monitor jobs from start to finish.
- Monitor and follow-up on assigned jobs to ensure customer needs are met.
- Develop and implement operational policies and standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed on construction sites.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
- Provide regular progress reports to management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management, with experience in managing construction teams and overseeing multiple projects.
- Previous managerial/supervisory experience required.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects utilizing organizational skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility regarding timely and accurate completion of work, and a strong commitment to corporate goals.
- Ability to function in fast-paced demanding working environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of construction industry standards, regulations, and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction project management software.
