Medical Access Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Patient Access Representative III to join our team at Conifer Health Solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Greeting and Registering Patients: Greet patients in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring their registration is completed efficiently and accurately.
- Verifying Insurance and Benefits: Verify patient insurance, benefits, and coverage to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
- Explaining Hospital Policies and Procedures: Explain hospital policies and procedures to patients, including consent for treatment and advance directives.
- Assisting with Scheduling and Financial Counseling: Assist patients with scheduling diagnostic or surgical procedures and provide financial counseling and education.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year
