Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
About The Salvation Army USA Central TerritoryThe Salvation Army is a non-profit organization that provides social services to those in need. As an Executive Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting the Leadership of the Harbor Light System.
Job DescriptionThis is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. As an Executive Support Professional, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling and Communication Management: Manage the schedule and select communications of the Executive Director.
- Meeting Coordination: Organize meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and arranging catering when necessary.
- Document Handling: Process and distribute confidential and sensitive documents.
- Record Keeping: Receive, sort, file, and retrieve forms, correspondence, and documents.
- Data Analysis: Compile data from client and staff surveys to deliver outcomes.
- Clerical Support: Perform various clerical duties using Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
- Event Planning: Assist in the coordination and execution of Harbor Light system-wide events.
- Reporting: Compile and format analytical and informational reports.
- Database Management: Maintain confidential databases, spreadsheets, and dashboards.
- Communication: Draft, review, and send communications on behalf of company executives.
- Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidence regarding information and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Minutes Taking: Take minutes at Advisory Council meetings.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent and five years of experience in clerical work or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Skills and Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly organized, strong time-management skills with the ability to multitask, ability to pay attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Computer Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills.
- Certificates and Licenses: Complete Safe From Harm training and have a current valid chauffeur license and pass the Salvation Army Motor Vehicle Record check (MVR).
