Position Overview:

As a Field Operations Specialist, you will deliver essential on-site support and analytical services to both Account Managers and clients. Your daily responsibilities will involve traveling to various locations to assist our customers. In the field, you will be tasked with collecting water samples from designated sites and performing chemical inventory assessments. Your role will also include monitoring and adjusting chemical dispensing rates, as well as troubleshooting and repairing chemical delivery systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for transporting chemicals to various locations and completing daily reports using a computer system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather vital information from customers to enhance product and supplier relationships.
  • Accurately collect and manage field samples.
  • Conduct routine oilfield sampling and perform various water quality analyses, ensuring precise documentation for Account Managers.
  • Maintain, operate, and repair all necessary company equipment to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service skills when interacting with clients and field personnel.
  • Uphold the highest safety standards at all times.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the oilfield, specifically in operating and maintaining high-pressure wells.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
  • Possession of a Class B CDL with a current Medical Certificate, along with Hazmat, Tanker, and Airbrake endorsements is advantageous.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.

  • Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills are required, including the ability to navigate web browsers and utilize online resources effectively.
  • Customer Service: Commitment to meeting internal and external obligations, responding promptly to customer inquiries, and seeking feedback to enhance service quality.
  • Work Ethic: Dependability, trustworthiness, and a strong sense of responsibility in the workplace are essential.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and maneuver 55-gallon drums weighing up to 600 pounds with appropriate equipment.
Work Environment:

This position involves both indoor and outdoor work, with a significant amount of driving. Employees may encounter extreme temperature conditions and must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 100 pounds. Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude are beneficial. Use of safety equipment, including hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, gloves, and H2S monitors, is required as necessary.
