Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our Multifamily team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional maintenance and repair services to our residents, ensuring their homes are safe and comfortable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of Apartments: Prepare make-ready apartments by performing tasks such as painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, and housekeeping duties to provide a quality move-in experience.
  • Responding to Resident Requests: Respond to resident requests in a timely and professional manner, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Maintenance Functions: Perform various maintenance functions including plumbing, HVAC, basic electric work, general carpentry skills, painting, and snow removal (as required).
  • Grounds Maintenance: Maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to ensure they are clean, operational, and safe for residents.
  • On-Call Scheduling: Participate in on-call scheduling to respond to after-hours emergencies and maintain a high level of customer service.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
  • EPA Certification: Hold EPA 608 - Minimum Type II certification and CPO or local city required certificate.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, management, and other stakeholders.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 100 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 25 pounds constantly.
