About the Role

Cook Group is seeking a highly skilled Territory Sales Manager II to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and building new customer relationships to drive revenue growth and pipeline opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business from new customers through a high level of customer contact, including frequent visits and extensive networking activities.
  • Effectively promote current technical capabilities and emerging technologies to facilitate generation and closing of new business opportunities.
  • Network and build trust-based relationships throughout target accounts from technical personnel to the executive level.
  • Work with marketing, account managers, and product development to develop strategies that ensure Cook Group's position as a leading solutions provider.
  • Negotiate contracts with increasing autonomy.
  • Identify market trends, assess market potential, and develop strategies to grow market share using data from customer base and market.
  • Provide timely, industry-leading customer support and define and interface with internal resources as needed.
  • Understand the process from pre-clinical to clinical development.
  • Influence without authority and collaborate across all levels of an organization (internal and external).
  • Achieve business objectives for assigned territory.
  • Develop, build, and cultivate long-term relationships with key management in the customer organization.
  • Assist management in devising sales plans and strategies, develop forecasts, budgets, and operating plans for product sales channels.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Life Science discipline or equivalent through relevant work experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience in sales/business development, product development, or a related field.
  • Full-time remote position.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to conduct and hear ordinary conversation and telephone communication.
  • Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule.
  • Ability to work under specific time constraints.
  • Ability to sit at desk, in meetings, and/or work on a computer for long or extended periods of time.
  • Visual and manual acuity for working with computers and equipment.
Travel Requirements

50-75% travel, domestic.
