Job Title: Intervention Specialist

Job Summary

The Intervention Specialist position is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional service to our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering crisis intervention services, providing information and resource referrals, and supporting individuals in need of short-term care coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver crisis intervention services via telephone, IM chat, text message, and in-person
  • Provide information and resource referrals to individuals in need
  • Support individuals in need of short-term care coordination
  • Participate in performance quality improvement (PQI) processes
  • Collaborate with the Contact Center Supervisor and Program Manager of Gateway Services
Requirements
  • Associate degree in a human service-related field or one year of counseling or crisis intervention experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort with diverse populations and flexibility
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
Working Conditions

The Intervention Specialist position is a full-time role that requires working in a fast-paced office environment. The position involves sitting for prolonged periods, using a computer, and operating standard office equipment. Minimal travel is required, and the position involves working holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.
