Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Carrollwood. As a Diagnostic Lab Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical skills during Diagnostic Lab procedures to provide an efficient, comfortable, and safe examination of adult through gerontology patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring consistent with the policies and procedures of the Diagnostic IR/Cath Lab and hospital administration.
  • Adhere to approved standards of aseptic technique during Diagnostic Lab procedures, utilizing equipment and supplies in a safe and prudent manner.
  • Facilitate implementation of physician's orders accurately, promptly, and courteously.
Requirements
  • American Registered Radiology Technology License (ARRT) OR Registered Radiology Technologist OR Certified Cardiology Technologist OR Paramedic (EMT-P) OR Respiratory Therapist (RRT) OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
