The Interventional Radiology Technologist plays a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients at Moffitt Cancer Center. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for performing sterile invasive and diagnostic procedures, administering contrast agents, and assisting radiologists during interventional radiology procedures.
Responsibilities:- Perform sterile invasive and diagnostic procedures on patients as requested by clinicians.
- Administer contrast agents to patients as needed.
- Assist radiologists during interventional radiology procedures.
- Work collaboratively with licensed independent providers, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology with advanced certification in vascular intervention preferred.
- ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (VI) certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology required within 18 months of hire.
- At least one to two years of experience in interventional radiology in a hospital setting preferred.
