Position Overview:
The Chief of Radiology Operations plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily functions, strategic initiatives, compliance measures, quality assurance, safety protocols, and operational budgets across various imaging modalities, including Radiation Oncology and Internal Transport services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of CT, MR, Ultrasound, Nursing, Nuclear Medicine, Mobile PET/CT, Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Imaging Nursing Services, Radiation Oncology, and Internal Transport.
  • Utilize expertise to conduct risk management by reviewing and researching confidential clinical data.
  • Exhibit a strong professional work ethic through timely communication, consistent attendance at meetings, and active participation in leadership roles to support the organization's mission.
  • Foster a culture of excellence by setting clear expectations and maintaining accountability.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring cost-effective operational management.
  • Employ human resources management skills to supervise a diverse team of modality supervisors, including overseeing hiring and termination processes.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
  • At least three (3) years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Possession of a State of Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist License.
  • ARRT (R) or NMTCB Certification required.
