Role Description:

We are pleased to announce an opening for a Licensed Medical Provider (LMP) to join our Intensive Case Management (ICM) Team. The selected candidate will conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage medication for clients receiving ICM services, all while promoting a Trauma-Informed Care approach. The ICM team supports individuals aged 18 and older diagnosed with serious mental health conditions, providing tailored community support aimed at improving health outcomes, reducing psychiatric symptoms, and enhancing overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess medical necessity and appropriateness of mental health services for enrolled clients.
  • Document medical oversight by signing off on comprehensive mental health evaluations and service plans.
  • Conduct psychiatric assessments for clients.
  • Participate in daily ICM team meetings.
  • Evaluate clients' medical needs, including necessary lab tests.
  • Provide medication management and consultations, ensuring ongoing assessment of treatment effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Cascadia clinicians during treatment team meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with treatment team members and external providers.
  • Assist in crisis situations, following established emergency protocols.
  • Comply with mandatory reporting laws and HIPAA regulations.
  • Complete required training and participate in professional development opportunities.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings and supervision sessions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • For PMHNP: Must possess an active state nursing license, certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and DEA certification.
  • For Psychiatrist or DO: Must hold an active state medical license, DEA certification, and certification (or eligibility) from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
  • Preferred 2-5 years of clinical experience in a community mental health setting.
  • Proficient computer skills for documentation in electronic medical records.
  • Ability to provide care aligned with collaborative care principles.

Working Conditions:
  • Ability to navigate the clinic environment safely.
  • Occasional physical activities such as lifting (20 to 50 lbs), climbing, and running.
  • Regular tasks include sitting, standing, walking, and keyboarding.
  • Constant visual and auditory engagement required.
