Credit and Collections Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit and Collections Analyst to join our team at Saint-Gobain. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for analyzing customer risk, setting credit limits, and working with customers to resolve collection issues.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze customer risk and set credit limits up to $350K
- Send statements and dunning notices to customers
- Work with customers to obtain remittance advices and reconcile unapplied cash payments
- Identify and propose solutions to management for large or unexpected orders that result in a credit hold
- Alert management to recommendations for write-offs while adhering to the bad debt to sales metric
- 4-5 years' experience in credit and collections, with experience in the construction industry preferred
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business, with a master's degree or credit/collections certification preferred
- Understanding of finance, internal control processes, bankruptcy knowledge, and A/R and related reserves accounting and software tools
- Financial analysis skills and experience working with external legal counsel and credit bureau reporting
- Expert knowledge of MS Excel and strong knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint
- SAP knowledge and GetPaid experience preferred
