Job Title: Environmental Engineer

As an Environmental Engineer at Entegee, you will play a crucial role in solving environmental problems related to air pollution, waste disposal, and process safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and complete projects within budget.
  • Solve environmental problems relating to water and air pollution, waste disposal, and process safety.
  • Develop air emission estimates for industrial processes and related operations.
  • Complete regulatory compliance determinations based upon facility operations and assist clients with regulatory strategy development.
  • Prepare supporting documentation and reports, including engineering calculations, regulatory compliance reports, SWPP Plans, SPCC Plans, Tier II reports, TRI reports, RMP, and air, water, and waste permit applications.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years consulting experience, with some industry experience a plus, in environmental compliance with a focus on completing permit applications required under the Clean Air Act.
  • Proficiency in formulating permit applications that align with diverse regulatory requisites and industries.
  • Competence in performing air emission calculations, leveraging methods like mass-balance, engineering judgment, and AP-42 emission factors.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local air regulations with emphasis on the Clean Air Act, including National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants, New Source Performance Standards, Title V Permitting, and New Source Review/Prevention of Significant Deterioration.
  • Capable of deciphering intricate environmental regulations and supporting industrial clients in demonstrating effective and economical compliance.
  • Experience in communicating with regulatory agencies and advocating for client's interests.
  • Skilled in crafting comprehensive environmental plans and reports, such as SARA Tier II/TRI, SWPPP, and SPCC plans.
  • Strong organizational acumen vital for managing and supporting concurrent projects.
  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically within the United States.

This is a full-time permanent position based out of Marietta, GA.
