Key ResponsibilitiesThis position entails a variety of essential duties, including but not limited to:
- Component Construction: Assembling components, subunits, or basic models, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Device Assembly: Utilizing specific layouts and scientific diagrams to build and package simple devices and subunits.
- Testing and Experimentation: Conducting tests or experiments that may require adjustments in setups or procedures, along with subjective evaluations in measurement and data recording.
- Data Compilation: Extracting and organizing engineering data from various sources, identifying errors, and determining the best methods for data presentation.
- Design Assistance: Aiding in design modifications by gathering relevant data regarding specifications and materials, and identifying inconsistencies or gaps in information.
- Ability to provide semi-professional technical support in areas such as research, design, development, testing, or process improvement.
- Practical knowledge of science or engineering; some roles may necessitate knowledge of mathematics or computer science.
- Experience in preparing design drawings and assisting with the evaluation and modification of machinery and equipment.
- Thorough understanding of hardware and software related to electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in supporting information systems operations.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Security Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret US DoD security clearance.
Associate's degree in a relevant technical field is preferred.
Communication SkillsEffective communication in English, both verbal and written, is essential. The ability to interact with all levels of technical and management personnel is crucial.
