Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Engineering Technician to join our team at Qualcomm. As a key member of our Product Development and Test Engineering group, you will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of RF bench test systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and maintenance of RF bench test systems, including assembling and configuring test equipment and PCB hardware.
  • Calibrate bench test systems and perform RF measurements using Smith charts.
  • Work with Bench Test Engineers, IC Design Engineers, Systems Engineers, and Product Engineers to plan, coordinate, and execute bench test activities.
  • Possess a good understanding of electrical concepts and troubleshooting skills.
  • Have the ability to understand and work from schematics to troubleshoot and resolve test hardware issues.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical drawings.
  • Possess a strong understanding and working knowledge of test equipment, including PC's, micro-controllers, and associated software.
  • Be familiar with PCB schematic capture and have good soldering skills.
  • Able to communicate clearly, organize effectively, and document work thoroughly.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of basic electrical/electronics engineering, electronics or RF testing, or related experience.
