Job Summary:

The Lead Service Associate will assist with supervising and directing daily site operations and staff, while safeguarding assets. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, as well as the ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine what kind of maintenance is needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customers with superior customer service, ensuring a positive experience in the gaming industry.
  • Perform and verify jackpots according to approved and established procedures, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform minor machine repairs, troubleshooting and basic troubleshooting and repair of slot machines as required.
  • Ensure all slot machines are secure and tamper-proof, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Assess the condition of slot machines that indicate service is needed, prioritizing maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of promotions, staying up-to-date on gaming industry developments.
  • Assist management with staff training, including customer service, cleanliness standards, sales register operations, slot machine payouts, and basic site operating issues.
  • Assist in assuring that inventory goods are properly stocked, faced, in date code, saleable, and properly priced, maintaining a well-stocked and organized environment.
  • Ensure that secured areas within the store are adequately controlled, maintaining a secure and safe environment for employees and customers.
  • Assure that location safety programs are followed, prioritizing employee and customer safety.
  • Maintain overall cleanliness and appearance of site, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment.
  • Ensure that site is properly operating in absence of General and Assistant Manager, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Ensure that all site equipment is properly functioning and well maintained, performing routine maintenance and repairs as required.
  • Assure that all Tribal policies and procedures are adhered to, maintaining compliance and adherence to regulations.
  • Assist with managing cost controls and cash flow practices, maintaining a fiscally responsible environment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED, with a strong focus on customer service and gaming industry knowledge.
  • Six (6) months of progressive responsibility working in a retail establishment, preferably a convenience store with fuel service.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Must have employment eligibility in the United States.
  • Must be able to obtain, maintain, and retain a valid Class II Gaming License.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish), with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees.
