This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge process analytical technology and automated synthesis reactors, providing scientists in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and chemical industries with the information they need to deliver life-changing products.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct on-site installations, customer training, repairs, and preventative maintenance for assigned instrumentation.
- Support North American Service Operations and MTAC to include Depot Repair, Field Service, Sales, Customer Service, and Product Management within the Southwest territory.
- Provide field service support and expertise to AutoChem end-users on assigned equipment throughout the product's lifecycle.
- Communicate, document, and manage customer issues with the Sales, TAC, Product Management, Service, and Quality departments as required.
- Prioritize, schedule, and track open service issues to resolution.
- Document and report scheduling, utilization, expense, and escalation as required in a timely manner.
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical, or electrical field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience, including internships or educational lab experience.
- Ability to travel around 80%, with around 60% overnight travel.
- Software and hardware literacy and proficiency of Windows-based and embedded operating systems.
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
