Job Summary

This is a challenging opportunity to serve as the Senior Systems Administrator for the U.S. Marine Corps Technology Services Organization (TSO) under Headquarters (Programs and Resources).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and guidance in the areas of planning, development, and maintenance of Marine Corps enterprise military pay, personnel and financial management applications developed and maintain by TSO.
  • Plan, develop and maintain system infrastructure, operating systems and application software within the framework of program priorities for Marine Corps pay and personnel community's established goals and within directives and instructions.
  • Provide technical advice, guidance, and instruction to functional users, managers and applicants programmers.
  • Maintain security compliance, and processing of unclassified or sensitive information.
Requirements
  • At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
  • Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
    • Working across multiple developer teams to test, implement, integrate, and administer middleware.
    • Generating reports concerning middleware utilization, capacity, availability, and support.
    • Maintaining and troubleshooting related processes, procedures, and problems.
Additional Information

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
