About the Role

As a Senior Business Development Manager for Industrial Sales, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the market. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading distributor of metalworking and MRO products and services.

Job Description
  • You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with mid-market customers, identifying business opportunities, and negotiating deals that meet their needs.
  • Your portfolio will consist of $2M-$4M in annual revenue, with a focus on penetrating new markets and growing existing ones.
  • You will work closely with internal teams and managers to increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement account plans to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  2. Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  3. Negotiate deals and close business with customers, leveraging your expertise and industry knowledge.
  4. Maintain accurate records and reporting to ensure seamless communication with internal stakeholders.
  5. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to deliver expertise and value relevant to specific categories of products and solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Industrial Distribution, Manufacturing, or equivalent experience required.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated success in B2B sales preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel up to several hours per day to customer locations within an assigned territory or region.
