Job Description

National Public Media, a subsidiary of NPR, is seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator to join our New York NPR sales office. As a key member of the corporate sponsorship sales team, you will support the sales team in managing campaigns, creating pitch decks, and assisting with client prospecting and database management. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced media sales team support or advertising agency media department, with excellent organizational and prioritization skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Support the sales team in managing campaigns, including proposal development, inventory and creative clearance, billing procedures, and client reports.
  • Act as primary point of contact for sponsor copy, including copywriting, obtaining client approvals, and routing internally for production.
  • Create pitch decks and supporting materials needed to respond to RFPs.
  • Assist sales team with client prospecting, research, and presentations for client meetings.
  • Assist sales team with database management, including SalesForce entry and maintenance, Trello, and Magellan.
  • Monitor live campaign performance and assist with duties including coordination with Digital Campaign Managers, issuing Radio logs/airchecks, building Campaign Wrap-Up decks, and gathering assets for Brand Lift Studies.
  • Provide administrative support, including coordinating conference calls, events, and meetings.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in work experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced media sales team support or advertising agency media department.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong research, presentation, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with various departments across the company, including Digital Ad Operations, Marketing, Traffic, Finance, etc.
