Dental Office Coordinator

About the Role:
The Patient Care Coordinator is a vital member of our team at Community Dental Partners. This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient service, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all patients and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Accurately capture and enter patient demographic and insurance information into our electronic patient health program.
- Verify dental insurance benefits prior to treatment plan creation and presentation.
- Present treatment plans, effectively communicating all options to patients.
- Assist patients with arranging finances for necessary treatment.
- Handle financial receipts and cash in accordance with practice standards.
- Ensure proper documentation is signed and input into the electronic health record.
- Maintain a clean and organized lobby, front office, and other facility areas.
- Communicate effectively with management and coworkers regarding improvements and suggestions.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic dental knowledge or the ability to learn.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, self-starter, and demonstrates initiative.
- Excellent work ethic and attendance record.
- Dental experience is required.
