About the Role:

The Patient Care Coordinator is a vital member of our team at Community Dental Partners. This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient service, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all patients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Accurately capture and enter patient demographic and insurance information into our electronic patient health program.
  • Verify dental insurance benefits prior to treatment plan creation and presentation.
  • Present treatment plans, effectively communicating all options to patients.
  • Assist patients with arranging finances for necessary treatment.
  • Handle financial receipts and cash in accordance with practice standards.
  • Ensure proper documentation is signed and input into the electronic health record.
  • Maintain a clean and organized lobby, front office, and other facility areas.
  • Communicate effectively with management and coworkers regarding improvements and suggestions.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic dental knowledge or the ability to learn.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, self-starter, and demonstrates initiative.
  • Excellent work ethic and attendance record.
  • Dental experience is required.
