About the Role

At Facility Maine Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technical Assistant to join our team. As a Radiology Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our technologists in the performance of technical duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist technologists in the performance of technical duties, ensuring that all procedures are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform duties of receptionists or file clerks, including managing patient records and maintaining accurate filing systems.
  • Assist with limited duties of the Radiology Coordinator, including scheduling appointments and coordinating with other departments.

Requirements

  • Education: High school graduate with good interpersonal skills and a strong understanding of patient care techniques and medical terminology.
  • License/Certifications: Knowledge of patient care techniques and medical terminology normally acquired through successful completion of training equivalent to that of a CNA. Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
  • Experience: N/A
