Imaging Excellence at RAYUS Radiology

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at RAYUS Radiology. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Radiologic Imaging (90%):
    • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
    • Explain and prepare patients for radiologic imaging procedures, explaining the procedure and positioning patients for optimal results.
    • Perform routine and advanced radiologic imaging procedures on designated portions of the body, providing patient support and talking to patients throughout the procedure.
    • Adjust radiologic scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate.
    • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
    • Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to protect yourself, patients, and coworkers.
    • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
    • Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.
    • Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
    • Maintain equipment in good working order, cleaning and disinfecting equipment after each use.
    • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.
    • Work with a Fluoroscopy C-Arm in surgical and outpatient procedures.

Radiologic Department Support (5%):

  • Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades.
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.
  • Assist with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise as applicable.

Additional Responsibilities (5%):

Complete other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
  • Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform radiologic procedures independently.

Preferred:

  • Bilingual.
