Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at RAYUS Radiology. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for operating various imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen patients for any precautions or contradictions before exams, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
  • Explain and prepare patients for radiologic imaging procedures, explaining the procedure and positioning patients for optimal imaging.
  • Perform routine and advanced radiologic imaging procedures on designated portions of the body, providing patient support and talking to patients throughout the procedure.
  • Adjust radiologic scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate.
  • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
  • Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to protect yourself, patients, and coworkers.
  • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.
  • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
  • Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform radiologic procedures independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual.
