Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team at the Penn Yan facility. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods throughout the facility.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate KanPak Quality activities and operations to meet objectives for quality, food safety, integrity, regulatory compliance, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in formulating and administering division's short and long-range goals and objectives for business growth.
  • Greet, direct, and assist inbound/outbound drivers upon their arrival at the facility and must be able to identify and diffuse difficult situations.
  • Answer delivery door for FedEx and UPS, assist the driver with unloading the truck, and receive parcels.
  • Verify inbound and outbound paperwork, process via PaperSave system and file.
  • Accurately identify leaking pallets to appropriate personnel and provide leaker count.
  • Submit Inventory Control documentation to Supply Chain daily.
  • Respond to all customer emails timely.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse and forklift experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, ability to navigate through multiple systems.

The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
