About the Role

Middle Tennessee Electric is seeking a highly skilled Business Data Analyst to join our Strategic Execution and Analytics Department. As an ideal team player, you will be responsible for providing data analysis and insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business intelligence needs and develop data-driven solutions
  • Work closely with users and Information Technology to translate data into actionable insights
  • Develop and maintain complex data models and analytics tools using Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Python, or R
  • Communicate data insights and complex problems to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ensure model integrity and apply data models to business decisions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Finance, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, or related quantitative field
  • Minimum of five years of experience in business analysis, planning, statistics, forecasting, or related technical experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively and work independently or with teams
