Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside a healthcare team in a retail cannabis dispensary environment, providing exceptional customer service to our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and safeguard confidential patient information, ensuring patient medication safety.
  • Assist customers with all aspects of preparing, setting up, and finalizing the dispensation process for medication, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Complete operational requirements by maintaining an organized workflow, verifying preparation and labeling of medications, verifying order entries and charges.
  • Utilize computer systems and programs for daily operations, including patient communication, refill orders, making appointments, and home deliveries.
  • Maintain cash register and accountability for assigned drawer, completing opening/closing procedures as assigned.
  • Comply with state law and regulations, providing oversight for overall dispensary compliance under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
  • Participate in recordkeeping and reporting necessary for State Compliance.
  • Attend staff meetings, continuing education, as directed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with custodial procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Assist patients and caregivers through the dispensary process/experience.
  • Educate patients on the proper use and storage of medical cannabis medications.
  • Follow the Green Goods customer service model.
  • Work with supervisors to set and accomplish goals.
  • Respond to patient communication platforms.
  • Troubleshoot to solve patient issues regarding the usage of their cannabis products.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma and 1-3 years' experience in a retail environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office required.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced retail setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptable to change in the work environment.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Flexible availability for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts.
