Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Vireo Health, Inc. in a retail cannabis dispensary environment. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will work closely with our healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in our startup team to educate and safely deliver medication to medical cannabis patients.
  • Assist patients and caregivers through the dispensary process, providing a seamless and personalized experience.
  • Train other team members in the use of cannabis-based medicines, ensuring a high level of knowledge and expertise.
  • Complete operational requirements by maintaining an organized workflow, verifying preparation and labeling of medications, and verifying order entries and charges.
  • Comply with all state laws and regulations, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Participate in recordkeeping and reporting necessary for State Compliance.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to custodial procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Work on company initiatives to achieve set goals and performance indicators.
  • Educate patients on the proper use and storage of medical cannabis medications.
  • Assist patients in determining the best treatment course under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and in conjunction with a provider's recommendation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, potential patients, caregivers, and providers.
  • Maintain cash register and accountability for assigned drawer.
  • Complete opening/closing procedures as assigned.
  • Utilize computer systems and programs appropriately for daily operations, such as patient communication, refill orders, making appointments, and home deliveries.
  • Assist with incoming orders, shipments, and deliveries of supplies.
  • Attend staff meetings, continuing education, as directed.
  • Maintain and safeguard entrusted confidential information.
  • Work with eCommerce platform to review and approve online orders and patient accounts.
  • Assist patients in utilizing the eCommerce platform to obtain medical cannabis medications.
  • Communicate with patients and home delivery team to ensure medication orders are delivered to patients in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Respond to all patient communication in both dispensary and home delivery environments.
  • Responsible for properly plotting and adjusting delivery routes using our navigational software.
  • Responsible for downloading and monitoring surveillance footage from Home Delivery vehicle cameras in conjunction with home delivery manager.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma and 1-3 years' experience in a retail environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office required.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptable to change in the work environment.
