Commercial Operations Director

Job DescriptionAs a key member of our executive team, you'll play a crucial role in developing our overall business, policy, and operational strategy. You'll work closely with our founders to drive commercial growth, build key customer relationships, and support the company's efforts in government and policy. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to shaping the future of energy.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute commercialization strategies to drive business growth and revenue
- Secure offtake agreements and sales of fossil-free fuel through new and existing customer leads
- Support the company's efforts in government and policy, including regulations, communication, grants, and lobbying
- Coordinate logistical operations and manage deployment logistics, including vendor and partner management
- Travel to partner sites, industry conferences, and critical meetings to drive business growth and partnerships
- Contribute to the company's industry-specific market strategies and drive commercial growth and scaling
- 7+ years of experience in commercial development and sales for the oil & gas, maritime, energy, clean fuel, or aerospace industries
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with various customers in the US and internationally
- Seniority, know-how, and comfort engaging with a multitude of stakeholders
- Strong understanding of challenges associated with scaling and deploying a first-of-a-kind technology
- Strong understanding of policy regulations, certification requirements, etc. associated with energy projects
- Experience in a high-growth environment for hardware/technology commercialization
Your salary and incentives will be determined individually based on your job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. We offer a competitive base range of $130,000 to $220,000/year, plus benefits and a stock award plan.
