Modeling and Simulation Director

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Modeling and Simulation Director to lead our team of experts in developing and integrating variable-fidelity computer models and simulations. As a key member of our Multi-Mission Analysis Department, you will be responsible for leading a team of 8-15 engineers in the development of models and simulations that effectively capture system and system of systems effects in complex threat environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of engineers in the development and integration of variable-fidelity computer models and simulations
- Develop and visualize solutions in support of one or more OAMS projects as an individual contributor
- Accountable for the execution of work and delivery of products from your section
- Responsible for direct line management activities for your employees, including performance development and appraisal, career development, staffing allocation, and ensuring your team has the resources needed to perform their work
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and business alignment
- Evaluate end-to-end system needs to discover system interfaces and data connectivity requirements across the kill-chain
- Model system and mission kill chains with tools such as Government, Commercial, and Raytheon simulations
- Develop metrics and results products that communicate the chain of events that led to an action
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
- Team leadership skills
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB
- Experience with Military Operations Analysis
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date
