POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Operations Maintenance Specialist will oversee maintenance customer service, inventory management, and administrative functions that enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service and effective communication to both internal and external stakeholders. The Operations Maintenance Specialist will assist the financial manager by providing insights and data that drive branch performance and profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service Support

  • Manage the Service Net Planner, coordinating preventive maintenance campaigns, repairs from various service requests, and scheduling vendor work.
  • Collaborate with centralized scheduling and management teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Welcome customers at the service location and provide high-quality phone support, addressing inquiries related to billing and scheduling.

Inventory Management

  • Oversee inventory productivity to ensure timely service while minimizing the risk of loss.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels by ordering parts according to established procedures, ensuring timely and defect-free deliveries.
  • Organize and store parts efficiently, ensuring timely updates to inventory systems and conducting regular cycle counts.
  • Manage battery and tire inventory, ensuring appropriate quantities and specifications are maintained.
  • Ensure timely shipping and receipt of warranty items, and manage returns in coordination with the warranty department.

Process Improvement

  • Conduct analyses and reviews of processes related to inventory, profitability, warranty campaigns, and service orders, recommending solutions to enhance profitability.
  • Utilize systems such as ServiceNet to analyze operational dynamics for problem-solving and process enhancement.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Undertake projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service and operations required.
  • Preferred experience in service and parts departments.
  • Quick learner who enjoys teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is essential for this role.
  • Willingness to travel as needed and comply with employment requirements, including background checks and drug screening.

Salary:
25.00/HR + Shift Differential When Applicable
