Position Summary:
As a Service Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our field service operations. This position involves leading a talented team of Service Technicians, ensuring that our equipment is maintained to the highest standards and that customer satisfaction remains our top priority.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and enhance customer and employee satisfaction within the service team.
2. Manage the scheduling and dispatching of service technicians across the designated territory to optimize service delivery.
3. Collaborate closely with Operations and Service Managers to ensure that all service requests are executed effectively and meet our quality standards.
4. Inspire, mentor, and develop technicians to achieve performance goals and adhere to maintenance protocols.
5. Oversee the budget for repairs and maintenance, ensuring cost-effectiveness and accountability.
6. Supervise parts department operations to guarantee excellent service levels and productivity.
7. Cultivate a culture of safety and compliance through effective leadership and communication.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required; trade-school certification is advantageous; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Extensive experience in equipment maintenance and leadership roles.
- Minimum of 5 years in service and maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Proficient in maintenance accounting and budget management.
- Basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
