Position Overview

The SEO and CRO Strategist at LMG Staffing Solutions will play a pivotal role in driving various digital marketing initiatives, with a primary focus on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO). This position entails conducting comprehensive site evaluations, performing keyword analysis, developing marketing campaigns, optimizing content, and analyzing performance metrics for our clientele.

Key Responsibilities

Deliverables

  • Keyword Analysis: Utilize keyword volume, competition metrics, search intent, and other critical data to select keywords that align with the client's brand, size, and industry.
  • Content Optimization: Enhance meta tags and on-page elements (text, images, links) to conform to best practices and keyword strategies.
  • Analytics Setup: Assist in the configuration and upkeep of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager tracking systems.
  • Technical Site Evaluation: Regularly evaluate the technical health of client websites, communicate findings, and provide actionable recommendations for enhancements.
  • Performance Reporting: Summarize key insights and conclusions from reports, effectively communicating the results of recommended optimizations and next steps.

Strategic Planning & Project Oversight

  • SEO Strategy Development: Formulate tailored SEO strategies and offer proactive recommendations based on the client's specific objectives, strengths, and challenges.
  • Timeline Management: Establish timelines for critical deliverables and assign responsibilities to team members.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with web, paid, and creative teams to ensure timely execution of initiatives and a unified digital strategy.
  • Account Oversight: Monitor project hours and retainer usage to ensure clients receive optimal value without exceeding budgetary constraints.

Client Engagement

  • Client Presentations: Deliver presentations to clients regarding past performance, strategies, and deliverables.
  • Client Communication: Maintain communication with clients regarding technical matters as needed.
  • Strategic Insights: Provide valuable strategic insights for the client's overall digital marketing efforts, addressing potential performance impediments.

Additional Duties

  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed on the latest trends and developments in SEO, CRO, content marketing, analytics, and user experience, sharing insights with the team.
  • Business Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling services to support the growth of the SEO practice.
  • Team Development: Assist in training SEO coordinators on fundamental management practices and task execution.

Qualifications

  • Fundamental understanding of SEO and Google tools (especially Analytics).
  • Proficiency in technical SEO aspects, including canonicals, XML sitemaps, meta robots, and schema markup.
  • Experience with local search optimization.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML as it pertains to SEO.
  • Ability to implement foundational SEO recommendations within a WordPress environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail with the capacity to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO.
