Sales Account Manager

The Sales Account Executive is a key role in generating advertising revenue by building relationships with local businesses and convincing them of the merits of television advertising. This position requires a strong understanding of the local business community and the ability to develop and implement strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain credible relationships with local business owners and decision-makers.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow revenue and exceed revenue goals.
- Maintain accurate records of sales calls, meetings, and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with station personnel to develop and deliver sales presentations to clients.
- Provide clients with information regarding rates for advertising placement in all media.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the local business community and its needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Mass Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum one year's experience in sales, preferably in the media field.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Experience achieving long-range objectives and implementing strategies to achieve them.
- Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment.
