Job Summary:

Northshore is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist II to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating computerized tomography (CT) scanners to obtain high-quality images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CT scanners to visualize pathologies and manipulate images to find the best possible image.
Position patients for procedures, administer injections of contrast media, and reproduce screen images on film.
Deliver exceptional customer service, being attentive to eye contact, facial expressions, and tone of voice.
Explain procedures to patients, giving them the opportunity to ask questions and reduce anxiety.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot problems related to software.
IEMA licensure and ARRT (R) certification, with a minimum of an Associate's Degree preferred.
Post-processing experience for CTA-Perfusion/Siemens, prior CT experience, and willingness to cross-train to CT are preferred.
