We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist II to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality ultrasound images of internal organs for use by radiologists in the diagnosis of disease and the study of organ malfunction.
Key Responsibilities- Under general supervision, use ultrasound equipment to produce two-dimensional images of internal organs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, explaining procedures and addressing questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree or higher preferred.
- Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or equivalent required; current CPR (BLS) certification also required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasound imaging; vascular, breast, general abdomen, OB/GYN, MSK, and pediatric experience preferred.
