Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients while providing excellent care.
  • Ensure proper dosing of radionuclides for each patient.
  • Administer radionuclides in a safe and effective manner.
  • Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients, guiding them through the exam process.
  • Monitor patients' well-being during exams and take appropriate action if necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient dosing, calibration, and regulatory reports.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of a radiologist to detect or treat diseases.
Requirements:
  • Current ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification.
  • Experience working in a high-volume setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS/CPR certification.
