We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Ops Financial Analyst to join our team at Fluidra North America. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the business with product costing, analysis of changes to manufacturing, cost savings analysis, and freight analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Cost Accounting: Perform cost center variance analysis (budget vs. actual) for operations departments and assist with hosting meetings with business leaders to review.
- Financial Analysis: Perform monthly analysis, accruals, and account reconciliations of commissions, royalty, and warranty expenses.
- Operations Support: Perform analysis related to warehousing/distribution and manufacturing for monthly business reviews (MBRs).
- Logistics and Inventory Analytics: Prepare logistics and inventory analytics to improve existing processes and drive EBITDA improvement.
- Labor Variance Analysis: Review, close, and perform labor variance analysis for completed production jobs to help manage WIP accounts.
- Annual Standard Cost Roll: Assist the Operations Finance Manager on the annual standard cost roll.
- Annual Budget Process: Assist the Operations Finance Manager in partnership with operations leadership in the annual budget process.
- CAPEX Approval Process: Help manage CAPEX approval process by partnering with business leaders and reviewing CAPEX requests.
- Cost Reduction Activities: Assist in tracking cost reduction activities for value improvement initiatives.
- Ad Hoc Reporting: Produce ad hoc reporting as required.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in finance and cost accounting.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, inventory, and operations.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Excel formulas (pivot tables and V lookups, etc.).
- Software Skills: Experience working with Oracle, Hyperion, Epicor, and Power BI is a plus.
- Teamwork: Ability to effectively respond to and interact with multiple levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment.
