Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Government team in Carlsbad, CA. This hybrid role offers a unique blend of collaborative work within our Carlsbad office and the flexibility of remote work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure a smooth and accurate month-end close process.
  • Develop detailed business cases and perform thorough return on investment analyses.
  • Develop and manage complex financial models that align with leadership's objectives and adhere to appropriate accounting standards.
  • Prepare accurate, timely, and consistent reports, including key financial metrics and key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Project accounting experience.
  • Experience in the development of detailed business case analysis and return on investment analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Excel, VBA).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of CAS, FAR with prior government contracting experience.
  • CPA or CFA designation is a plus.
  • Prior experience using Oracle or SAP.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $102,000 to $177,700 per annum, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional cash or stock incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
