Position Overview

The Translational Medicine (TLM) division at QPS encompasses three key laboratory units: Biomarker Analysis (BMA), Gene & Sequence Analysis (GSA), and Immunobioanalysis (IBA). As an Associate Scientist within these units, you will engage in a structured training program, focusing on mastering Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP), while executing assigned research projects in accordance with established protocols and meticulously documenting findings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine laboratory tasks, including reagent preparation, pipetting, weighing, monitoring, and inventory management.
  • Support supervisors in analyzing drug compounds or other targets within complex biological samples.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain sophisticated laboratory instruments.
  • Accurately document experimental details, calculations, results, and observations in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform essential mathematical and chemical calculations.
Work Environment

This position is entirely based within QPS facilities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Pharmacology, Medical Technology, or a related discipline:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Associate's Degree with 3 or more years of relevant experience may also be considered.
