Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to engage in the production of latex particle reagents aimed at supporting in-vitro diagnostic products. The role encompasses a variety of essential functions and responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing: Produce latex particle reagents in both laboratory and bulk manufacturing environments.
  • Nano-Particle Creation: Synthesize nano-particles utilizing emulsion polymerization techniques.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep of laboratory instruments, ensuring proper calibration, verification, and maintenance.
  • Analytical Testing: Conduct routine analytical assessments, including pH measurement, particle size analysis, and UV-Vis absorbance testing.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of all activities in compliance with FDA, ISO, IVDD, and other relevant regulations.
  • Product Development: Prepare experimental lots for new products and conduct experiments to resolve performance issues, while supporting various feasibility and validation initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proficient in acid-base titration and solid-phase chemical modification.
  • Understanding of polymerization mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with general chemistry laboratory techniques, including mixing, filtration, sonication, and centrifugation.
  • Ability to safely handle chemicals and biochemicals.
  • Capability to adhere to written procedures and comply with company change control policies.
  • Skill in escalating nonconformance findings and following appropriate deviation processes.
  • Trained in good laboratory practices and documentation standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in chemistry or biology laboratories.
