Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 5-10 data engineering professionals in designing and delivering data engineering services.
  • Develop and implement standards and best practices across the organization for data engineering.
  • Collaborate with the Data Architecture team on various initiatives.
  • Oversee the architecture design space within data engineering and ensure effective and optimal solution design, deployment, and support of processes.
  • Develop new patterns and enablement plans for data engineering.
  • Document design practices and ensure the architectural runway is maintained.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or 12 years of IT experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 12+ years of IT experience, 8+ years of experience managing direct reports.
  • Strong knowledge of data engineering and experience with modern data engineering tools, such as IICS/IDMC, Fivetran/HVR, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), etc.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, including Snowflake and Azure.
  • Strong sense of urgency and drive for results.

This is a senior leadership role that requires a strong technical background and leadership skills. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering complex data engineering projects.
