Position Overview:
At FL Innovation Connect, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of dental healthcare technology.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer, you will:
  • Design the electrical framework of our systems, ensuring comprehensive integration from individual components to complete assemblies.
  • Facilitate collaboration across engineering, product development, and manufacturing teams to enhance the design and creation of advanced surgical robotics.
  • Lead the transition from conceptual designs to production-ready solutions.
  • Rapidly prototype and refine large-scale models to meet stringent requirements.
  • Oversee and assess circuit board designs, providing guidance to the engineering team.
  • Mentor junior engineers, imparting knowledge on design methodologies and development processes.
  • Drive troubleshooting initiatives, utilizing field reports and quality data to identify and resolve issues.
  • Enhance product quality through the development of effective electrical testing strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable quality and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to the creation of new intellectual property and support patent applications.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, accompanied by a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven expertise in electronic design for embedded motor control systems.
  • Experience with mixed-signal electronic design for precise measurement applications.
  • Strong foundation in both analog and digital circuit design.
  • Proficiency in schematic design, PCB layout, and prototyping.
  • Familiarity with electrical design CAD tools, preferably Altium.
  • Hands-on experience with motors, encoders, and various sensors.
  • Knowledge of embedded electronic design, including ASIC, FPGA, and microcontrollers.
  • Understanding of EMI/EMC principles and electrical safety standards.
  • Competence in embedded firmware development.
  • Experience in managing relationships with external partners, such as suppliers and OEMs.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory equipment, including power supplies and oscilloscopes.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
