Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating electrical systems for our test products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems, including interface assemblies, test instruments, and environments.
  • Integrate state-of-the-art test solutions with advanced engineering systems.
  • Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, including technical, cost, and schedule management.
  • Act independently or as part of a team to uncover and resolve issues associated with test product development and implementation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (8) years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree and five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.
  • Experience with electrical engineering design, including troubleshooting, analysis, and test.
  • Experience with commonly used electrical engineering design and analysis tools, including Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, and Creo Schematic.
  • Experience with commonly used test equipment, including oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, and power meters.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Science degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Ability to provide technical leadership in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Experience performing analog, digital, and/or RF design.
  • Experience designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed signal, and electrical system interconnect.
  • Self-starter and able to manage workload to meet assigned deadlines.
