Job Summary

The Dispensary Technician is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional patient experiences at AYR Wellness. This role requires a unique blend of knowledge, empathy, and communication skills to create a welcoming and informative environment for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized guidance and support to patients, explaining the benefits and features of our premium cannabis products.
  • Ensure patient questions and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively, communicating any issues to management as needed.
  • Oversee the patient intake process, maintaining accurate records and confidential information.
  • Accurately receive, coordinate, and fulfill patient orders using our Point of Sale (POS) and inventory tracking systems.
  • Adapt to varying sales volumes, staying engaged and proactive in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked dispensary environment.
  • Follow compliance practices to prevent diversion of medical cannabis and assist in processing and monitoring floor stock.
Requirements
  • Basic math, computer, and cash handling skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and problem-solve in a professional manner.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and pass background checks.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Effective communication skills with patients, caregivers, and team members.
  • Experience with cash handling and POS/inventory control systems.
  • Prior experience in retail or customer service, with cannabis experience a plus.
