We are seeking a skilled and friendly Cashier to join our team at Parkhurst Dining. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acknowledge the presence of our guests immediately, with a friendly greeting.
  • Utilize the tools provided to stay organized, learn menu and daily specials, and keep in close communication with management.
  • Bus tables and help maintain cleanliness, restock/organize areas surrounding the check out counters.
  • Handle all POS transactions ethically and according to company policies, including all cash, meal plan or swipe, and Cater Trax orders.
  • Accurately make change for all cash-paying guests, maintain proper counts of all transactions, maintain accurate balance in cash drawer at all times, and reconcile cash drawer after every meal.
  • Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Follow cleaning schedule as provided by management using clean as you go techniques.
  • Follow company attendance policy, including arriving for work timely, following calling off procedures, and maintaining an acceptable attendance record.
  • Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene.
  • Follow all guest satisfaction procedures and hospitality imperatives.
  • Work well with others and assist fellow team members as needed.
