Position Overview:
The Property Leasing Specialist is responsible for welcoming prospective residents to the community, coordinating property tours, and addressing inquiries related to leasing.

This role also assists current residents with daily concerns and manages the renewal of existing leases. The Property Leasing Specialist serves as a vital communication link between community residents, management, and maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome all residents, prospects, and visitors to the community

• Effectively lease apartments and promote the property's offerings in line with budgetary goals

• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing Standards in all interactions with prospects and residents

• Follow up on leasing inquiries and analyze traffic trends

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the property and its major competitors

• Assist with marketing initiatives to position Bell communities as preferred living spaces

• Review resident applications in accordance with company guidelines

• Prepare lease documentation and maintain organized files for each resident

• Foster positive and professional relationships with residents throughout their lease term

• Address resident inquiries, complaints, or issues and provide timely follow-up

• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong marketing and creative abilities

• Proficient in MS Office Suite and tech-savvy

• Familiarity with Yardi Voyager or similar software preferred

• Exceptional customer service orientation

• Basic understanding of Fair Housing laws and compliance

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Superior interpersonal skills; ability to connect with diverse personalities; tactful and adaptable

• Basic to intermediate math skills

• Demonstrates alignment with Bell Core Values

• Presents a professional image

• Resourceful and well-organized

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED required

• BA/BS in business, marketing, hospitality, or a related field preferred

• 1+ years of experience in apartment leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service preferred

Schedule:

• Full-time

• Weekend availability required
