AGM Tech Solutions, representing a Global Technology Company, is seeking a

Position: Principal Architect (.NET)

We are in search of a seasoned Principal Architect to spearhead our technological strategies and enhance architectural standards throughout our organization. The successful candidate will have extensive technical knowledge, a strategic mindset, and practical experience in developing highly scalable and efficient systems.

Key Technical Skills Required:

· Proficient in C# and the .NET 8 framework, with a comprehensive understanding of its internals and optimization techniques.

· Expertise in ASP.NET Core for the design and execution of large-scale, distributed APIs and web services.

· Advanced familiarity with database technologies, including PostgreSQL/MSSQL, NoSQL (e.g., DocumentDB), and performance tuning.

· Significant experience with event-driven architectures, Kafka, Redis, and microservices design methodologies.

· Profound knowledge of cloud-native architectures and adeptness with AWS services and best practices.

· Mastery in application performance monitoring and optimization using tools like Dynatrace.

· Advanced skills in log management and analysis using Splunk, capable of designing thorough logging strategies.

· Strong grasp of OOP principles, design patterns, and API design best practices, including versioning and backward compatibility.

· Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

· Solid background in Agile methodologies and experience leading Agile teams.

· Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot and the ability to integrate them into the development process.

· Extensive experience in architecting and developing complex distributed systems, including worker services, background jobs, and high-throughput processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the architectural design and implementation of scalable, resilient, and high-performance backend systems and microservices.

2. Promote the adoption of best practices in software architecture, design patterns, and coding standards across the organization.

3. Perform advanced troubleshooting and debugging of intricate, distributed systems.

4. Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data access patterns for maximum efficiency and scalability.

5. Architect comprehensive monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using Splunk, Dynatrace, and other tools to ensure system reliability and performance at scale.

6. Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and cultivate a culture of technical excellence.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business objectives.

8. Assess and recommend new technologies and frameworks to enhance system performance, scalability, and developer productivity.

9. Design and implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.

10. Stay updated on emerging technologies and architectural trends, continuously refining the team's technical roadmap.

11. Provide technical leadership in critical projects and initiatives, offering hands-on coding and problem-solving when necessary.

12. Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including system diagrams, data flow models, and technical specifications.

The ideal candidate will be a visionary technologist with a proven history of architecting and implementing large-scale, high-performance systems. They should possess excellent communication skills, the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges. The Principal Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's technical direction and fostering innovation across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Understanding of the health insurance, employee benefits, and HCM technology.

· Familiarity with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, ACA).

· Knowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) standards and processes.

· Experience with enrollment systems and benefits administration workflows.

· Familiarity with retirement plans and wealth management concepts.

· Experience working with large datasets typical in health and benefits industries.

· Knowledge of plan administration processes and systems.

· Familiarity with LIMRA standards and other industry-specific protocols.

· Awareness of regulatory compliance requirements in the health and benefits sector.

· Experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.

· Familiarity with insurance industry terminology and concepts.

· Familiarity with 401(k) plans and retirement benefits.
