Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of software engineers in the development of software applications, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX research, and QA, to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including software design evaluation plans and test results.

  • Implement unit and integration tests and conduct functional and performance testing where appropriate.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in software development experience.
  • Proven track record for managing a team of developers to achieve company goals.
  • Proven track record for architecting, scaling, and implementing complex technical solutions.
  • Proven track record of leadership in Agile environments, with excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for mentoring and empowering team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript (7+ years) with deep understanding of advanced principles of client-side and server-side development.
  • High proficiency in React (5+ years), with a solid background in building performant UI components with modern hooks and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in Azure or AWS, demonstrating the ability to architect and implement robust performance-optimized solutions.
  • Knowledge in building and tooling processes such as CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and package managers, coupled with extensive experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles.
  • Experience developing cloud-native applications.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies.
