Job Description

This position involves supporting the Furniture/Equipment/Relocation Project Management Services, focusing on FF&E selection, procurement coordination, and purchasing for identified areas. Responsibilities include strategic oversight of FF&E procurement, installation, pre-move, move, and post-move activities for assigned projects. The successful candidate will assist with budget and schedule tracking efforts and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to prepare office layouts and furniture relocation plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the procurement and purchasing of FF&E using best-value and/or low bid public contracting methods.
  • Support budget and schedule tracking efforts for FF&E and moves.
  • Collaborate with Project Architects (A/E), Project Managers, and occupants to plan furniture and equipment relocation.
  • Work with vendors and movers to fill equipment and furnishings gaps.
  • Coordinate and prepare lists of new furniture and equipment needed for projects.
  • Support the timely and successful onsite FF&E installation, punch-list sign-off, and transition during swing space, relocation, and/or move into new buildings.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • 4 years of related experience in Interior Design, Construction, Engineering, Moves/Relocations, Facilities, or Furniture, Fixture and Equipment coordination/procurement.
  • Ability to read architectural and furniture drawings.
  • Knowledge of furniture and equipment specifications and procurement processes.
  • Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to be onsite at multiple locations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
